Concern a la Village

Tuesday, October 26, 2010, between 17: 05-18: 21 pm Mount Merapi ‘slight’ cough (coughing up big again estimated at 4-5 days). That ‘little’ cough caused many victims and caused thousands of residents of the slopes of Mount Merapi in Sleman district to evacuate.

Around 21:00 pm, the head of subdistrict Turi through the hamlet chief instructed every village residents to gather 25 packages of rice. No exception Kelor Ngumbul hamlet. Since it is estimated that many refugees who haven’t dinner because the time of eruption was still afternoon. After waiting for about 1 hour, about 70 rice packets have been gathered.

There is a feeling of mixed emotion when collecting rice packages, considering the side dishes is ‘only’ village style. But the more touching feeling is we are all like a family. Hopefully there are benefits for the refugees, and the status of Merapi quickly returns to normal. Even if there ‘cough’ hopefully our family in the danger zone can survive. Amen.

Kepedulian ala Desa

Amin.
