The Mutual Cooperation of Celebration Decor


Saturday afternoon April 30, 2011, Kelor young people came to Sutarno house (one resident Kelor) because on the next day, May 1, 2011 Sutarno married his daughter named Rosa Rosma Meinita with Arman Fauzi Sikumbang.

In Kelor, the wedding ceremony is often only done at home resident owner of a celebration. The arrival of young people was the custom of citizens in every celebration event (wedding). The agenda was to decorate the altar. There’s nothing special about it, except that there is no compensation for young or free.

After the celebration event is completed, the bride usually invited young people to be nice with a couple at the same time the dissolution of the committee. This event was known as Jenang Sumsuman. Jenang Sumsum is a porridge made from rice. Jenang Sumsum is a symbolized as a restorer of fatigue after helping the implementation of a celebration.

====================Gotong Royong Dekorasi Hajatan ===========================

Sabtu petang 30 April 2011, pemuda-pemudi dusun Kelor berdatangan ke rumah pak Sutarno (salah seorang warga Kelor). Bahwa pada keesokan harinya, 1 Mei 2011 bapak Sutarno menikahkan putrinya yang bernama Rosa Rosma Meinita dengan Arman Fauzi Sikumbang.

Di Kelor, acara pesta pernikahan sering hanya dilakukan di rumah warga pemilik hajatan. Kedatangan pemuda-pemudi tersebut merupakan kebiasaan warga di setiap acara hajatan (pengantin). Agenda utamanya tidak berubah: mendekorasi pelaminan. Tak ada yang istimewa dengan hal tersebut, hanya saja tak ada kompensasi bagi pemuda-pemudi alias gratis.

Setelah acara hajatan selesai, biasanya pengantin mengundang pemuda-pemudi untuk beramah-tamah dengan pasangan sekaligus pembubaran panitia. Acara ini dikenal dengan sebutan jenang sumsuman.

Jenang sumsum merupakan jenang yang terbuat dari beras. Dari namanya (sumsum) disimbolkan sebagai pemulih kepenatan setelah membantu terselenggaranya hajatan.
