Borderless (Tanpa Batas)

New year’s eve 2014, we got an invitation from a new tourism village to attend their launching event. Two months before, they came to our village to discuss and share about handling a tourism village.

The name of this new tourism village was Desa Bale Glagah, which made an educational tourism as their icon. This village was located in Merapi Downhill (around 3.5 km from the peak).

The name of BaleGlagah was come from the union of three villages from two districts (Belerante Klaten and Glagaharjo Sleman). As a victim of Merapi eruption in 2010, they wanted to tell people that beside we could live with nature comfortably, we also could be harmed by nature.

Since we also experienced the Merapi eruption in 2010, we could feel the same spirit. This tourism village, which was the merger between two districts, reminded us a philosophy of war. “In order to make peace in our country, we should look for enemy outside our country”.  Of course we cannot take this philosophy for granted, we should make a little correction: if sadness could unite us, excitement should also be shared together. Borderless…

===============================Tanpa Batas=================================

Malam tahun baru 2014 kami mendapat undangan launching desa wisata baru.
